E-bike riders are encouraged to attend Saturday’s Menifee E-Bike Safety Day, sponsored by the Menifee Police Department.
Menifee PD continues to respond to calls about reckless riding of e-bikes and youths not following the rules of the road on city streets. In fact, two bicyclists were stopped and cited at a special bicycle and pedestrian safety operation on May 20. This program is an attempt to educate riders about safety rules and practices.

The event will include bicycle safety instruction and a ride around the Haun Road and New Hub loop with officers. Participants are asked to bring a helmet as well as their bike. If you haven’t already, register online at Menifeepolice.org/ebikesafetyday
