A Menifee man died Friday night as the result of a four-vehicle collision in Moreno Valley, authorities said.
David Betts, 65, died at a local hospital shortly after the collision at 7:54 p.m. at the intersection of Iris Avenue and Lasselle Street, according to a Sheriff’s Department press release. Three other subjects were also transported in a critical condition.
The cause of the collision is under investigation, and it is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor, police said. No arrests were made at the scene. No other details were released.
