Sharp leads Santa Rosa Academy to 38-0 football victory

Santa Rosa Academy raced out to a 29-0 halftime lead and went on to score a 38-0 football victory over West Valley on Thursday night.

Quarterback Andrew Sharp completed 5 of 10 passes for a touchdown and ran for 74 yards and 2 more touchdowns. Ian Taylor rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown and Chris Ramirez finished with 63 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns – one rushing and one receiving.

Nine different ballcarriers totalled 250 yards rushing for the Rangers, who are 2-0. They play at Indian Springs on Sept. 4.

On defense, Aaron Quesada and Graham Johnson each had 5 tackles. Varun Bagga and Timothy Velasco both recovered fumbles.
