The Menifee Union School District will hold its Fall Family Resource Festival tomorrow, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bob O’Donnell Education Center.
The free event will feature information from local organizations about before- and after-school programs, youth programs, educational and tutoring services, health and wellness, mental health resources, and housing and food assistance.
Activities will include pumpkin decorating, fall crafts, trick-or-treating, face painting and live performances. Opportunity drawings will also be held, with contributions from local businesses, including Mulligans, Menifee Bicycles Shop, Pins & Pockets and Raising Cane’s.
The MUSD Educational Foundation will also collect gently used athletic shoes during the event. Sneakers and cleats of all sizes will be accepted. They must be in good condition with no tears or rips. Attendees can also meet and take photos with Pete the Cat.
