Menifee Police are investigating an incident Wednesday night in which a male was stabbed during what appears to be a road rage incident.
Officers responded about 9 p.m. to a location near Newport Road and Bradley Road, according to Chase Coburn, public information officer for MPD. They located a male with a small stab wound that did not appear to be life-threatening.
The preliminary investigation indicates the incident followed a physical altercation stemming from a road rage incident. The suspect involved in the stabbing remains at large.
“This is believed to be an isolated incident, and there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public,” Coburn said.
Police scanner audio reported that the incident occurred in the parking lot of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, just north of the intersection.
