Paloma Theatre Group presents play spoken and in sign language

The Advanced American Sign Language (ASL) students at Paloma Valley High School, in partnership with the Theatre Production program, are proud to present a special bilingual performance of John Cariani’s beloved play “Almost, Maine”.
 
This innovative production will be performed simultaneously in spoken English and American Sign Language, offering an inclusive and visually compelling theatrical experience for all audiences.
 
This collaboration highlights the creativity and dedication of students across two disciplines. Performers bring the heartfelt, humorous stories of “Almost, Maine” to life through expressive signing, voice acting, and dynamic staging. The production celebrates accessibility in the arts and showcases the exceptional talent of Paloma Valley’s ASL and theatre students.
 
“We are incredibly excited to share this production with our community,” said Stephanie Fomby, theatre director. “Our students have worked side-by-side to create a show that celebrates language, connection, and the power of storytelling.”
