Girls basketball player Mariama Jagne was the lone athlete selected as Athlete of the Month for November at Santa Rosa Academy. She was selected by her coach for outstanding performance during the month.
“Mariama’s attitude is so positive and she always strives to improve all while maintaining a smile,” said coach Shalimar Brewer. “She is always cheering on her team and is such an asset to the team. Her hard work at practice has been showing on the court for game days. She never makes excuses and shows up ready to play.”
