The Boys & Girls Club of Inland Valleys recently hosted its Fall 2025 Sports Banquet, bringing together youth athletes, families, and coaches to celebrate a successful season of basketball, flag football, and soccer.
The banquet recognized the dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship of Club members who participated in the fall sports league from both Menifee and Perris. Athletes were honored with seasonal awards, including Most Valuable Player, Sportsmanship, Rising Star, Female Player of the Season, and Defensive Player of the Season. There were also awards for Coach of the Season, and the prestigious Mayor’s Award, which highlights youth who exemplify leadership and positive character both on and off the field.
A special highlight of the event included Acting Menifee Mayor Robert Karwin, who attended the banquet and presented the Mayor’s Award for soccer, recognizing outstanding youth athletes for their commitment, leadership, and sportsmanship.
The event was made possible in part thanks to the generous support of underwriting sponsor Ares Industrial Management, whose commitment to youth development and community programs helped ensure a memorable celebration for Club families and athletes.
The celebration also featured contributions from a number of local partners and supporters. DJ Shawn with SEB Sounds provided music and entertainment throughout the event, while Starbucks helped keep guests energized by providing coffee and tea. Families were invited to visit on-site vendors, including Blaze Pizza and Milk & Honey Donuts, who added to the festive atmosphere. Raising Cane’s supported the event by providing free meal certificates for youth athletes, helping make the celebration even more special for Club athletes.
In addition, youth attendees enjoyed bounce houses and a game trailer, while community members had the opportunity to give back by donating blood at the Lifestream Mobile Blood Drive Van, which was on site during the event.
The Boys & Girls Club of Inland Valleys also recognized the dedication of its volunteer coaches for their ongoing commitment to supporting youth through sports and mentorship.
