Offensive threat Parris Peacock of Liberty High School was recently named Special Teams MVP on the All-Ivy League football team, joining seven Bison teammates on the list of honorees. In addition, four Paloma Valley players were honored.
Peacock rushed for 1,242 yards and 18 touchdowns for the Bison, who advanced to the second round of the CIF-SS playoffs. He was joined on the all-league first team offense by Trent Hallis, Jayden Torres, and Daxton Laurer. Bison selected to the team on defense were Lucas Saenz, Jaden Delarosa, Micah Merced, and Caius Nile.
Paloma Valley players named to the team on offense were Noah Davis and Isaac Navarro. Davis caught 47 passes for 1,049 yards and 17 touchdowns. Quarterback Navarro passed for 1,365 yards and 16 TDs.
Wildcats named to the team on defense were Malik Carlton and Dustin Higginbotham.
Khalil Abdul-Aziz of Orange Vista was named the league’s Offensive MVP. Elijah Dowlou of Orange Vista was named Defensive MVP and Josiah Dupree-Boyd of Vista del Lago was named Utility MVP.
