Bradley Road at Salt Creek will re-open as Freedom Bridge on Oct. 1, once again giving motorists a north-south route from downtown Menifee to the Sun City community.
The bridge is scheduled to be open by 5 p.m. There will be a special ceremony on Oct. 13, but the bridge is ready now and city officials have decided to open it on Thursday.
