The six candidates running for District 2 and District 4 seats on the Menifee City Council have been invited to a Candidates Forum sponsored by Menifee 24/7 on Sept. 23.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the campus theater at Liberty High School. Candidates include Ben Diederich, Tom Fuhrman and Laz Peterson in District 2 and Randy Madrid, Frank Sandoval and Daniel Stephens in District 4.
All candidates will be given an equal opportunity to discuss such important topics as community development, warehouses, and flock cameras. Questions will be asked by a moderator and residents will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance.
Moderator for the event will be local resident, author, and community volunteer Tony Reverditto. He is a journalist for the Valley News and columnist for Rage magazine. In addition, Tony is on the board of directors for the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Introductory news articles on the candidates are being published on Menifee 24/7, but the forum will be an opportunity to learn more about the candidates and their campaign platforms. They will also be available to meet in person.
