The granddaughter of a Menifee resident and daughter of a Paloma High School graduate are seeking help for 7-year-old Maddie, who is in need of a kidney transplant.
Her mother, Samantha Wagner, posted on a GoFundMe site that Maddie was born with a rare genetic disorder that required her to receive a liver transplant when she was only 8 months old. Following many other health challenges, Maddie is now in kidney failure and faces dialysis and a second organ transplant.

Maddie is on the waiting list for a kidney transplant at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. The family faces massive expenses, with dialysis expected in Los Angeles three times a week.
