Metoyer appointed to Parks, Recreation, and Trails Commission

Menifee resident and local business owner Justin Metoyer was sworn in as the newest member of the city’s Parks, Recreation, and Trails Commission last week.

Metoyer took the oath of office from city clerk Stephanie Roseen at Wednesday’s City Council meeting. He will serve on a commission of five that meets on the first Thursday of the month. The commission makes recommendations on policies to the City Council regarding the operation, use, and management of all recreation activities and facilities.

Metoyer was appointed to the commission by Acting Mayor Bob Karwin. He is president of The Ninth Shield, Inc., a private security firm based in Menifee. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Menifee.
