Paloma girls win sixth straight with 55-23 victory over Patriot

Paloma Valley led 25-13 at halftime and ran away with the game in the second half Thursday night, defeating Patriot High 55-23 for the Wildcats’ sixth straight win in girls basketball.

The Wildcats are now 6-4 on the year. They have bounced back nicely after losing their first four games of the season. Winnie Madut and Mianna Bravo shared high-scoring honors with 16 points each. Emily Davis scored 11.

The win came two days after the Wildcats beat Rancho Mirage 71-13 on Tuesday for their biggest margin of victory so far. Madut and Bravo also shared scoring honors in that game with 17 each.

Paloma Valley will take a few days off before playing at Poly on Dec. 17.
