News from the San Jacinto Animal Campus:
The most meaningful part of the holidays isn’t what’s under the tree — it’s somewhere to belong.
Dijon is a 1-year, 7-month-old male Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a big heart and a desire to be with a loving family. He’s good with other dogs, too. He’s also good with people; he just needs a little time to warm up to someone new. He’s looking for a caring home where he can be part of everyday life: the walks, the quiet evenings, and the little moments that make a family.
This holiday season, you could give Dijon something that lasts far longer than the decorations: a place to call home, and love he can count on all year long.
Dijon is currently in a foster home, waiting to be adopted. While he waits for a home to call his own, he’s learning new tricks and spending time at a ranch around other animals. Dijon will also be working with a professional dog trainer during his time in foster care.
Could Dijon be the companion your home has room for? For more information, contact Riverside County Animal Shelter/San Jacinto Campus at 951-358-7387 to arrange a meet-and-greet and learn about Dijon’s care needs, compatibility with your household, and the free adoption process.
Adoption is a year-round commitment, so take time to find the right match. The holidays will come and go, but a loving home could change Dijon’s life long after the last light is packed away.
