MENIFEE – The City of Menifee is ready to celebrate spring with four popular community events:
Wildlife Appreciation Day – Head outdoors and celebrate animal life with Menifee’s Park Rangers on Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Central Park (30268 Civic Plaza Drive). This year’s Wildlife Appreciation Day will feature a traveling tidepool, information booths with local and state agencies, and opportunities to meet other exotic animals. This event is free and open to the public.
Spring Fest – Hop on over to Centennial Park (31166 Shire Horse Way) for Menifee’s Spring Fest on Saturday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to noon. This annual event is packed with family fun, including age-appropriate egg hunts, bounce houses, games, and an array of delicious food. This event is free and open to the public. Don’t forget to bring a basket for the egg hunts!
Egg hunts are currently scheduled for the following times (subject to change):
0-3 years – 9 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
4-6 years – 9:15 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.
7-9 years – 9:30 a.m. & 11 a.m.
10-12 years – 9:45 a.m. & 11:15 a.m.
Teens & Adults – 10 a.m
Inclusive/Adaptive* – 11:30 a.m.
*Our inclusive/ adaptive egg hunt is dedicated to children of all abilities to participate, explore, and enjoy this activity in a supportive and accessible environment.
Multicultural Festival – Celebrate Menifee’s diverse community at our annual Multicultural Festival on Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mt. San Jacinto College’s Menifee Campus (28237 La Piedra Road). From vibrant performances to global flavors and traditions, this event highlights the beauty of diversity by showcasing cultures from around the world. It is free to attend and an opportunity to eat, dance, learn, and celebrate our community.
Menifee Better Together – Giving back takes center stage as the community gathers for Menifee Better Together on Saturday, April 25, from 7 a.m. to noon. It’s a day dedicated to neighbors helping neighbors through a variety of projects that help beautify our city while making community connections along the way.
Volunteers will meet at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (29725 Bradley Road) to check-in before being released to participate in a community project. Community Projects Include:
— Senior Home Revitalization (in partnership with Habitat for Humanity)
— Flowerpot Creation Activity
— Mulch Replacement and Beautification Projects at Various City Parks
— Quail Valley Clean-up: Bulky Item Drop-Off at Kabian Park (28001 Kabian Park Road)
