Here’s a look at some of the dogs available for adoption at the San Jacinto Animal Campus:
Francisco is a gentle giant with a heart of gold — and enough dog to fill the whole sofa.
This 2-year-old American Bulldog/Mastiff mix has a tan-and-white coat and weighs 131.2 pounds of pure love. Sweet, calm, friendly, and highly treat-motivated, he’s basically a professional cuddler with a snack-based compensation package. Francisco would thrive as the one-and-only dog in a home with a family ready to love on him.

Bounce is a friendly, happy boy who asks for very little — just a soft place to rest and a special person to stay close to. At 14 months old, this 41.4-pound Australian Shepherd mix, with his white-and-grey coat, has so much love to give and a whole lifetime ahead of him. Despite being blind and deaf, Bounce is a happy, active pup who embraces each day with enthusiasm. He knows kindness by a gentle touch and companionship by the comfort of someone beside him. Bounce deserves a patient, loving home where his days can be filled with warmth, safety, and the quiet promise that he will never have to feel alone.

Lily is a 10-month-old spayed female Pit Bull/Terrier mix with a grey-and-white coat and 32 pounds of happy energy. She knows some basic commands and is ready to bring enthusiasm to every walk, game, and snack break — especially the snack breaks. Lily is ready to leave shelter life in the rearview mirror — preferably from the back seat of your car, with her head out the window, with zero plans to look back.

Kitt is a beautiful 60-pound Husky mix with a black-and-white coat and a résumé that includes calm, friendly, attentive, sweet, and extremely photogenic. She also knows some basic commands, though “pose for the camera” may be her true specialty. Kitt is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy couch, a loving family, and a front-row seat to all the household adventures.

Mango is a 7-year-old neutered Pit Bull mix with a brown-and-white coat and 84 pounds of friendly enthusiasm. He knows some basic commands, has plenty of energy, and is treat-motivated — which is dog-speak for “I’m listening, but I’d like to discuss snacks.” He’s also ready for the shelter’s Trunk or Treat event—costume optional, treats highly encouraged.
