The Santa Rosa Academy cross country teams had another impressive outing Sept. 12 at the Grant Nunnally Small Schools Invitational, hosted by Woodcrest Christian High in Riverside.
The team is composed entirely of underclassmen, so the Rangers competed only in the JV boys and girls divisions. Both teams took home first-place trophies. Kai Sierra took first place for the boys and Mya Sullivan first place for the girls.

In addition for the boys, Lemuel Espinoza placed fifth, Adrian Shearer ninth, and Anthony Harris 11th. For the girls, Lailah Battle placed ninth, Elli-Jonelle Hernandez 12th, and Liliana Reyna 16th.
