Heritage holds on for 10-9 victory in water polo

Caleb Wonnell scored 7 goals with 2 assists to lead the Heritage water polo team to a 10-9 victory over Ramona on Tuesday.

Ameer Flores had 3 assists for the Patriots, who are now 2-2 on the season. 

“They beat us last year in CIF,” said coach Lucky Stephenson. “This shows that we’re progressing on a positive path.”

Heritage next plays at Indian Springs on Sept. 1.
