The Liberty High School football team dominated from start to finish on both sides of the ball Thursday night in a 55-7 victory over Sultana.
Quarterback Julian Gallardo passed for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns, while seven ballcarriers rushed for a total of 204 yards. Six different players scored touchdowns for the Bison, who are 1-1 this season.
Dominic Hall ran 66 yards for a touchdown in his only carry of the game. He also caught an 80-yard touchdown pass in his only reception. Gavin Ramirez had a touchdown run and Luke Lesieur had a 20-yard touchdown catch.
In addition, Damian Rowell returned 2 interceptions for touchdowns. Kasen Dallinghaus scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery and Cayson Lauritzen scored on a blocked punt return.
Liberty led 42-7 at halftime. The Bison are off until Sept. 11, when they are at home against Elsinore.
