Four Liberty High School players and one Paloma Valley High player will compete in the second annual Riverside County Boys Lacrosse All-Star Game on Saturday.
The game will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Liberty High School. A total of 13 schools will be represented in a North vs. South format. Menifee area players will play for the South team, which will be coached by Chuck Assumma of Temecula Valley High School. The North will be coached by Kyle Gilbert of ML King High.
“This is to help grow the game and give the seniors one more chance to shine,” said Liberty lacrosse coach Scott Cunningham.
Liberty players selected for the game include attacker Noah Ayala, who led the Bison with 41 goals and 10 assists. Also selected was midfielder Carter Lauritzen, who scored 32 goals with 7 assists this season.
In addition, the Bison will be represented by Josef Bae, who won 75 percent of his faceoffs this season. Defender Parker Moore, who had 81 takeaways.
Paloma Valley attacker Anthony Taliercio will also play in the game.
Cash will not be accepted for admission at the gate. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $5.80 through the QR code on this event flier.
