The Menifee Planning Commission will consider a proposal for a Dutch Bros Coffee drive-thru on Wednesday as part of a project that also includes an 8,200-square-foot building designed for restaurant and retail uses.
The project site is located on the south side of Newport Road, just west of Winter Hawk Road, Tommy’s Car Wash and Popeye’s Chicken. The project proposes to divide a 7-acre parcel into four parcels. Approximately 1.8 acres will include these developments, with the remaining acreage intended for future development.
Dutch Bros Coffee would be located in a 1,025-square-foot building. The project includes a drive-thru lane with vehicle stacking for up to 24 vehicles. There would also be nine parking spaces available.
No tenants have been announced for the larger building on the parcel.
The project is part of the Newport Road Economic Development Corridor.
Wednesday’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall, located at 29844 Haun Road in Menifee.
