There has been no official announcement from the City of Menifee, but Menifee 24/7 has received confirmation that Costco has submitted an application to build a store in the city.
The potential location is the open field to the south of the Countryside Marketplace on the southeast corner of Haun Road and La Piedra Road. The project is still in the early stages. Menifee Communications Director Phil Southard would not comment specifically on the project.

“The City is continuing to see strong interest from numerous high-quality national retailers, as Menifee remains an attractive market due to our strong population growth, desirable demographics, and strategic regional location,” Southard said.
