The Paloma Valley High School girls basketball team stayed with the opposition in the first half Friday but ultimately lost a 49-28 decision to visiting Hillcrest.
The Wildcats are now 11-11 overall with one game remaining in the regular season. They play at Orange Vista on Monday.
