The Heritage High girls basketball team improved its overall record to 13-0 and evened its league record at 2-2 Wednesday night with a 61-23 win over Hemet.
As usual, LaKaila Trimble and Izabella Duarte led the Patriots’ offensive attack. Trimble finished with 22 points and 16 rebounds, leading the team in both categories. Duarte scored 20 points with 9 rebounds.
The Patriots resume Ivy League play with a home against Canyon Springs Friday at 5:30 p.m.
