Yes, a major grocery store is coming to McCall Square in Menifee, and it appears to be a Stater Bros. as previously reported.
Interest in the center on the northwest corner of McCall Boulevard and Menifee Road has increased as construction has continued. The center now includes a 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Chipotle, and a Jersey Mike’s. A Baskin Robbins is coming soon.
Phil Southard, public information officer for the City of Menifee, says grading plans are being reviewed prior to start of construction of the grocery store.
Southard said he can’t confirm Stater Bros. as the grocery store, but that is already stated as fact on the website of SRS Real Estate Partners, developers of the center. SRS lists Stater Bros. – and a McDonald’s – as coming to the corner of the commercial center.
Nick Wirich, senior vice president and principal with SRS, did not return messages seeking comment.
