All three local high school girls water polo teams have made the CIF-SS playoffs, which begin next week.

Liberty (11-4), the Sunbelt League champion, will play at La Canada, the No. 3 team from the Rio Hondo League, in a Div. 4 opener Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. Heritage (12-8), an at-large team, will play at Beaumont (11-15) at the same time.
In Division 3, Paloma Valley (19-8), which finished third in the Ivy League, will play at Burroughs High of Burbank, the Pacific League co-champion.
The finals in all divisions will take place Feb. 21 at Mt. San Antonio College.
