Heritage has an easy time with Paloma Valley, 66-20

LaKaila Trimble scored 20 points and pulled down 16 rebounds Wednesday night as the Heritage High School girls basketball team defeated rival Paloma Valley, 66-20.

Trimble made 10 of 17 shots from the floor (59 percent). She received strong scoring support from teammates Nolae Turner (13 points), Ayzela Cooper (12) and Izabella Duarte (11). Turner also had 6 rebounds.

The Patriots are now 2-0 on the young season. They crushed Diamond Bar 67-19 on Monday. Heritage plays at Santiago on Friday.
