Sal Chiaravalloti named Menifee's Citizen of the Month

Sal Chiaravalloti was recognized by the Menifee City Council at its meeting last week as Menifee’s Citizen of the Month.

Chiaravalloti is president of the Sun City Cruisers car club, which is active at many community events. He supports local nonprofits and assists seniors and veterans throughout the city.

According to the City’s presentation, Sal’s efforts include “organizing donations and food drives that support the Red Cross, March Air Reserve Base, and others.”

“Sal brings a big personality to our events,” said Mayor Pro Tem Bob Karwin. “He’s a great choice, and I thank him for everything he does.”

“The greatest thing about our city is those who do for others,” said council member Dan Temple.

Chiaravalloti was humble in accepting the award.

“It’s not ‘I’, it’s these people out there,” he said, pointing toward a large group of Sun City Cruisers club members in attendance. “If it wasn’t for each and everyone of you … I want our club members to feel good about themselves.”
