Planning Commission to consider paint and autobody shop

A public hearing will be held at the March 12 Menifee Planning Commission meeting to consider the proposal to build an 18,717-square-foot building to house a paint and autobody repair shop in the Southern Gateway of the city’s Economic Development Corridor.

The facility would include six service bays on a 2.39-acre site located 1,000 feet south of Scott Road on Zeiders Road. The project site is located on the west side of Zeiders Road, across the roadway from industrial buildings that are part of an area zoned for industrial use. The site is also just north of the residence of Merle and Ina May Zeiders, a pioneer family in the area.
