The Menifee Planning Commission on Wednesday will consider a staff proposal to approve the plot plan for a subdivision of 39 single-family lots on 9.21 gross acres near Paloma Valley High School.
The project site is located on the southwest corner of Tupelo Road and Linda Lee Drive, north of Garbani Road. Called the Garbani North project, the subdivision will include lots ranging from 7,200 square feet to 8,624 square feet. One water quality basin will be located on the northeast corner of the project.
According to the staff report, “Surrounding properties include an existing residential tract to the east, vacant residential properties to the south, and an existing single-family residence to the north and west.”
The staff report asks the commission to recommend to the City Council a resolution adopting an Initial Study & Mitigated Negative Declaration, which states that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
The meeting is open to the public is begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall, located at 29844 Haun Road in Menifee.
