Paloma Valley wrestlers dominated in the boys and girls Ivy League Finals on Saturday.

Four individuals won league championships for the Paloma Valley High boys team and one for the girls team Saturday, when the Wildcats qualified 23 wrestlers (plus one alternate) for next weekend’s CIF individual championships.
At the Ivy League Finals, the Wildcat boys qualified 13 for the CIF meet by placing that many wrestlers in the top five of their weight class. League champions were Uriel Cruz (120), Syruss Flores (132), Travis Ledesma (138), and Javon Major (175).
The Paloma Valley girls qualified 10 wrestlers for the CIF individuals. Melissa Moreno (145) won a league championship.
Also in the Ivy League Finals, seven Liberty High girls qualified for the CIF meet and five boys advanced. The Paloma Valley and Liberty girls will compete at Marina High on Saturday and the boys will compete at Ayala High.
In the Inland Valley League Finals, 11 Heritage boys qualified for the CIF meet and two won league championships – Jacob Dalton (144) and Charles Smith (285). Also, seven girls advanced and Estrella Linares-Botelo (170) won a championship.
