The County Coroner’s Office has identified a Menifee man as the victim in a fatal traffic collision Sunday in Murrieta.
Brian Bridgeforth, 25, was identified as the motorcyclist who died in the collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Los Alamos Road and Hospitality Place, just east of the 15 Freeway. Murrieta Police and Fire officers responded at 10:59 a.m. and found the victim lying unresponsive on the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passengers remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation, according to a Murrieta PD news release. The driver did not display any signs of impairment. Investigators also obtained a statement from a witness, but no details on the collision were released.
A section of Los Alamos Road was closed for several hours during the investigation.
