Man arrested in Menifee for negligence with firearm, stalking

Police responding to the report of shots fired on Saturday night arrested a man on charges of negligence and stalking, authorities said.

The incident took place about 10 p.m. in the 28000 block of Pinyon Pine Court, according to Sgt. Josh Fernandez of the Menifee Police Department. Officers learned that shots had been fired but no one was struck by the gunfire. Officers determined that the suspect had been stalking a female.

Luciano Miquael Burks, 18, was arrested on felony charges of discharging a firearm with negligence, terrorist threats, and stalking. He was booked into the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta with bail set at $50,000.
