Santa Rosa's Chris Jones scores 1,000th career point

Santa Rosa Academy senior guard Chris Jones reached a career milestone when he scored his 1,000th point Friday night for the boys basketball team. The big moment came in the Rangers' 72-59 win over Newbury Park Adventist in a tournament game. Santa Rosa is now 10-3 overall and Jones is averaging 27.2 points per game. He will be honored at the team's Jan. 7 home game.
