Menifee 24/7 is pleased to honor Athletes of the Month for November at Paloma Valley High School. Honorees were selected by the coaches of their respective sports and were recognized with a presentation of certificates and photo opportunity on campus.
Representing the boys wrestling team is William Leyva. The junior is undefeated so far this season. He won the John Rice Memorial Tournament and beat the 22nd ranked wrestler in the state against Temescal Canyon.
Eliana Martinez was selected as a representative of the Wildcats girls wrestling team. She was a finalist at the Girls on Fire Tournament.
Sophomore John Trujillo scored both goals in the boys soccer team’s opening game against Heritage. As a freshman, he was the Offensive League MVP. Paloma Valley is 6-2 this season.
