Anita Russell honored by council as Citizen of the Month

Longtime resident Anita Russell was honored this week by the Menifee City Council as the Outstanding Citizen of the Month.

Russell is very active as a volunteer in the Quail Valley community. She serves as vice president of the Quail Valley Community Group and manages the distribution of food to those in need through the Angels Among Us program.

“I do it because I believe in God and I’m a follower,” Russell said. “When you serve God, you serve man.”
