Lesa Sobek held steady in her slim margin over Ricky Estrada Wednesday in the latest election results for the Menifee mayoral race.
Sobek leads Estrada by 170 votes with the count continuing. In all of Riverside County, about 25,000 vote-by-mail ballots and 35,000 Conditional Voter Registration ballots remain to be counted.
In the Measure R school bond measure race, “yes” votes held steady in the lead with 55.71 percent. It needs 55 percent to pass.
In the race for the U.S. Representative 41st District seat, Ken Calvert leads with 51.50 percent of the vote, compared to 48.50 percent for Will Rollins. Calvert has claimed victory and some media have projected him as the winner, but Rollins has not conceded.
Here are the latest numbers. The next update is expected at 6 p.m. Thursday.
