Menifee Valley Middle School to present band performance

Menifee Valley Middle School is thrilled to host its Annual First Performance National Day of Celebration concert event, featuring a beginning band concert at 5 p.m. on Nov. 21.

The Music Achievement Council (MAC) created the First Performance National Day of Celebration (FPNDoC) to celebrate, honor, and encourage the early achievements of music students across the United States, providing a platform for budding musicians to showcase their newly acquired musical skills in a public setting.

Menifee Valley Middle School invites parents and community members to join this special Annual First Performance National Day of Celebration concert. The concert will take place in the school’s Multi-Purpose Room with students demonstrating the skills they’ve learned so far this year. The performance will last approximately 20-30 minutes, ending with a certificate presentation for each student musician.

"Our students have worked so hard to prepare for this performance," said Stephen Layton, Band Director at Menifee Valley Middle School. "Participating in the First Performance National Day of Celebration is a fantastic way to encourage their continued growth and demonstrate the positive impact that music can have on our students and community."
