A Perris woman was briefly hospitalized after being struck by two vehicles near the intersection of Ethanac Road and Sherman Road in Menifee Sunday night, authorities said.
The incident occurred at about 6:40 p.m., according to a Menifee Police Department news release. The investigation revealed that the woman was walking on the shoulder of the road when struck by a vehicle. After she fell onto the roadway, a second vehicle traveling in the opposite direction also struck her.
Neither driver stopped at the scene. The victim was transported to a medical facility with non-life threatening injuries and later released. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision.
