Recapping the weekend in high school football:
Quarterback Daniel Marlow passed for 30 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 57 yards in helping lead Santa Rosa Academy to a 54-0 rout of Temecula Prep on Thursday.
Seven different players scored for the Rangers, who improved their record to 7-2 with one game left in the regular season. Quarterbacks Marlow and Jacob Goode each threw a touchdown pass. Caleb Stecker, Dominic Vicente-Thomas and Caleb Delgado ran for touchdowns. Brendan Quesada and Vicente-Thomas caught touchdown passes.
Jackson Morace had a 60-yard kickoff return and a 57-yard punt return. Nick Welty and Ryan Peterson each had 5 solo tackles.
Elsewhere, Heritage won its second straight game and improved its record to 4-5 with a 12-6 victory over Citrus Hill on Friday. Quarterback Achilles Reveles passed for 114 yards and a touchdown and he also ran for a touchdown.
On defense, Alex Hernandez led the team with 6 solo tackles. The Patriots play host to Perris Friday in their last regular-season game.

Liberty lost to Rancho Verde, 24-13, and slipped to 3-6 for the season. On Friday, the Bison play at Paloma Valley in the last game of the season.
