Dan Temple is a longtime Menifee resident who spent years in law enforcement and has also served the City of Menifee in many ways. He has the experience and dedication to serve effectively as the City Council representative for District 3.

Here are three keys to Dan’s Plan for Menifee, as explained by him:

Public safety: “I’ll make sure our police and firefighters are fully funded and have the resources, equipment, and support they need to be effective.”

Economic development: “I will advocate for policies that promote business development and good-paying jobs. I will be a strong advocate for our local business community.”

Quality of life: “Menifee is a great place to live, and I want to keep it that way. I will focus on repaving roads, park maintenance, and reducing traffic congestion.”

Temple is a devoted husband and father, a retired CHP sergeant, and a Marine Corps veteran. A proud resident of Menifee for over 20 years, he actively volunteers in the community. He was appointed to the General Plan Advisory Committee, served two terms on the Santa Rosa Academy School Board, volunteered for the Boy Scouts of America, and graduated from the Menifee Citizens Academy. He currently serves on the Menifee Interfaith Council.

Dan and his wife Naomi moved to Menifee in 2003. Their two children, Spencer and Dominique, graduated from Santa Rosa Academy. Dan and Naomi enjoy volunteering in their church and local community.

Among those endorsing Temple is Menifee Mayor Bill Zimmerman.

“I’m proud to endorse Dan Temple for City Council," he said. "Dan has a long history of community service in Menifee. He’s dedicated to improving our quality of life and keeping Menifee safe and prosperous.”

Current District 3 council member Lesa Sobek also endorses Dan.

“Dan Temple has my full support and endorsement as my successor on the City Council," Sobek said. "Dan’s background and qualifications make him the best candidate to represent us.”

Dan is also endorsed by Riverside County Supervisor Chuck Washington; State Assemblyman Bill Essayli; Retired County Supervisor Marion Ashley; Menifee Union School District Board member Jackie Johansen; Planning Commissioners Randy Madrid and Chris Thomas; and Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin.
