One of the City of Menifee’s biggest community events of the year takes this place weekend. The annual Fall Festival returns to the parking lot at Mt. San Jacinto College Saturday from 4-8 p.m.
The event will include performances by community groups; food and craft vendors; a kids zone; a Halloween costume contest; and trunk or treating with a car cruise-in by members of the Sun City Cruisers car club. Admittance to the kids zone requires only a donation of toiletries, socks, gift cards, cash or Venmo. Proceeds will go to Alternatives to Domestic Violence.
Categories for the costume contest are ages 0-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-17, family, and pets. Costumes will be judged on the scariest, cutest, and most original.
For more information, contact the City of Menifee Community Services Department at 952-723-3880 or www.cityofmenifee.us/specialevents
The Halloween costume contests are a big hit at every Fall Festival.
Vendors display a variety of craft items and other goods for sale, including food.
Kids can play games at the vendor booths, visit the kids zone, and trick or treat with the car club.
