Menifee PD issues 45 citations during special enforcement

The Menifee Police Department cited 45 drivers and motorcyclists for a variety of violations during a recent special enforcement operation.

The operation was held on Oct. 23 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., according to a Menifee PD news release. In all, 20 drivers were cited for speeding and 25 other citations were issued for various violations.

The Menifee Police Department will hold another motorcycle safety enforcement operation in the coming months. The date has not been determined.

Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
