Menifee man arrested on multiple weapon, drug charges

A Menifee man faces multiple weapon and drug charges after his recent arrest by Menifee Police Department officers, authorities said.

Valery Budyanskiy, 47, was arrested at a residence on Redoak Street in Menifee on Oct. 18, Menifee PD announced this week. Members of the department’s Special Enforcement Team and Gang Impact Team served a search warrant, during which they located 78 grams of fentanyl, 4 grams of methamphetamines, firearms, and cash. In addition, Crime Scene Investigators collected more evidence, including thousands of rounds of ammunition.

Budyanskiy was arrested on charges related to narcotic sales, firearms violations, and two felony warrants related to narcotics sales. He was released on bail Saturday and faces a Nov. 8 court date in Murrieta Southwest Justice Center.
