Reveles, Macias lead Heritage football team to 21-13 win

Senior quarterback Achilles Reveles passed for 101 yards and two touchdowns Friday night as the Heritage High School football team defeated visiting Knight, 21-13.

Reveles completed 10 of 22 passes for the Patriots, who are 2-1 this season. Masen Zamarippa caught 5 of those for 68 yards and Dane Ortiz caught 4 passes for 35 yards.

The running game was led by Armando Macias Jr., who carried the ball 24 times for 157 yards. Reveles’ 12-yard TD pass late in the fourth quarter gave Heritage a 21-7 lead, which was good enough to hold up for the win.

The Patriots play host to rival Paloma Valley Saturday at 6 p.m. in the annual Menifee Bowl.
