We urge Menifee residents to attend the Candidates Forum at Liberty High School on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. in the campus theater. This event is sponsored by Menifee 24/7 and the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Many of you have engaged in lively conversations on our social media posts about the upcoming city elections. Some have posed questions to the candidates, but usually those go unanswered on a social media post. This is your one chance to be present with all candidates running for Mayor and the two other open City Council seats – District 1 and District 3 – and hear for yourself what answers the candidates have.
In order to facilitate a timely and orderly format for the event, questions must be submitted in advance. Be specific and ask all candidates or a specific candidate about the issues that most concern you. Email questions to info@menifee247.com and we will do our best to get them answered.
All candidates have committed to attending. They include:
Mayor: Ricky Estrada, Dameon Green, Lesa Sobek
District 1: Mark Harkay, Bob Karwin
District 3: Felix Montano, Gene Recor, Dan Temple
Candidates will also be available after the forum to meet individually with residents. Please take advantage of this opportunity to meet the candidates to help you make an informed decision come election day, Nov. 5.
