Menifee man faces DUI charge after off-ramp collision

A Menifee man faces a charge of felony DUI after a collision involving three vehicles on a 215 Freeway exit ramp Wednesday, authorities said.

Rudolfo Florez, 34, was booked at the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta, according to jail records. Flores exited the south 215 Freeway at Highway 74 and rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped for a red light, pushing that vehicle into another vehicle. The middle vehicle’s driver was transported with moderate injuries, according to CHP Officer Mike Lassig.

The collision occurred about 7 a.m.
