The City of Menifee will hold a scoping meeting on July 31 as part of the preparation of an environmental impact report regarding another proposed business park on Zeiders Road in south Menifee.
The Menifee Business Park, also known as PEMCOR, will consist of 11 single-story buildings ranging in size from 23,100 square feet to 37,840 square feet on approximately 20 acres, according to city documents. This would be the latest industrial development on Zeiders Road south of Sott Road and west of the 215 Freeway. The area was previously open fields and farm land and is still home to the Menifee pioneer Zeiders and Bouris families.
The site is zoned as Economic Development Corridor – Southern Gateway. What was once home only to large ranches is now planned for manufacturing users.
A public comment period for this project continues through Aug. 13. Materials for the project may be downloaded from the City of Menifee’s website here. Materials are also available for review at City Hall, 29844 Haun Road in Menifee. Comments must be submitted in writing or email to:
