Press release from Rotary Club of Menifee:
MENIFEE –The Rotary Club of Menifee begins its 62nd year of service to the community with a new president and a new theme for the year.
George Mills, a resident of Menifee, is serving as Rotary President for the 2024-25 year. George, along with his wife Kristina, are small business owners with the local company, A Better Look, which is a home inspection company. George is setting up the year for the Rotary Club of Menifee for the 2024-25 year with the theme of The Magic of Rotary.
George joined the Rotary and feels that he was raised to be a Rotarian.
“I have always had a Rotarian Heart,” he said. “I was taught that it is better to give than receive.”
His involvement in Rotary reminds him of a saying from his mother, “I am drinking from my saucer as my cup has overflowed!” Rotary overflows his cup.
Asked “why” to join Rotary, George shares that Rotary allows you to be a part of something bigger than yourself. It gives you a starting point to learn how to help provide clean water in Africa, build a medical clinic in Central America, or locally to provide a bike helmet to a kid in Menifee. If you have a passion area for service, Rotary can help you make it happen.
If you are interested in learning more about the Rotary, meetings are held the second and fourth Thursday of the Month at 11:45 a.m. at MSJC in the 3000 Building.
